Well that exorcised the ghosts superbly! The weather was amazing. The ground was superb. We jumped 14 hedges non-stop on the second leg. We did two river crossings. And Radar was the best he has ever been. He didn't pull, he stood at checks, and we had a terrific day.
I am grinning from ear to ear and can't wait to go out again next week.
Meanwhile I really need a bath!

ReplyDeletei don't really understand why the other hunt doesn't check out it's proposed route before hand - given that a trail has to be laid anyway, it surely isn't difficult for the person to go a horse friendly route!
well there were four of us out yesterday who have vowed never to go with the others ever again Claire, so they are losing serious revenues now. c.
DeleteFabulous!! Nothing like a great day out on a good horse to clear the cobwebs and put a smile on your face!
ReplyDeleteand I'm STILL smiling fit to burst C.

ReplyDeleteEveryone is well today, Radar disgustingly self satisfied and all in one piece.
I've had the day off riding, when I got round to it, tomorrow morning seemed soon enough :-)
