I simply could not face being outside in the wind and endless rain today so no-one got ridden and everyone came in very early very willingly.
I cannot see how anyone can run a sensible hunt tomorrow given that it has rained non stop for 16 hours so far today with no sign of any let-up, and the temperature has remained so low that the ground has water on top of ice.
I won't be going, it will be pointless, even if I can raise the energy.
On the plus side the boys are really gelling as a group of three these days and seem to be very happy, especially Woodikins who is more confident in his body with every day that passes. It's a joy to see him blossom like this.

Ugh to the weather, that's for sure.....
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the herd is getting along so well. I theorize that, in general, when everyone is well fed, and content with the care, rivalries tend to diminish--unless you have a bully like Tucker in the group. *sigh*
It is quite amazing how little iron-on carpet tape I have used since Jazz died!
