Woody has passed the farm ride test with flying colours. It made no difference to his soundness whatsoever, even though I have not worked him for 48 hours. He will work tomorrow towards being fit enough to hunt!
I finally gave in today and now have penecillin for my cough. I have done nothing all day, except lunge Woody for a couple of minutes, if that.
Tomorrow I hopw to goodness that the ABs will kick in and I can ride Woody and Radar without falling apart.
Off to bed now.

Isn't whooping cough a virus?
ReplyDeleteApparently it's a bacteria. It surprised me too. I also managed to get cystitis from becoming dehydrated, so the ABs became essential. They've worked already on the razor blade pee, and the cough is nowhere near as voilent this morning, which is just as well because of course I have to keep the antibiotics down!

I can handle detail - kids take care of that :-) I had forgotten until now but Sam missed the spring bike racing season because of it.
