Hot today, rain tomorrow

This morning I schooled Radar before going to my friend and he was pretty good, really. As long as you count having to half halt every three to four strides as good. I'm not sure I do, but he was fun anyway.

This evening I schooled Ace and he didn't even skip in the canter on the lunge. Ridden he was quiet and polite. Apart from a short spell where he was a bit reisistant on one rein and I had to half halt and send him on. Most of his canter was really bouncing.

We have torrential rain forecast for tomorrow, so that'll be interesting!

  1. Thunderstorms here today, but I did get my morning swim in. Thought of riding later, but no way now.

Ace just simply continues to be a really nice horse, doesn't he? I am so happy about this after all you've been through.

And Radar continues to be...well..Radar. What more can we say. *lol*

    1. Thunder and lightning for us too Jean. The kittens were terrified, poor little mites :-)

  2. I know you get tired of it but the thought of torrential rain is very, very appealing. We are baking today in very dry 35C degree weather. Hope you don't get heat after the rain - instant humid heat - NJ style.
