How did TWO of us end up sitting on the sea front of Llandudno on Tuesday, staring at tickets for Bill Bailey for Wednesday night? I don't know how that happened. It was a toss-up whether to drive the two hours back home again or spend another 100 quid staying there for a day we didn't want to be there. We know the area well and were there only a few weeks ago, so we came home and went back again on Wednesday. I am glad to report that he was well worth it!
Ace is behaving better and better, and this morning he was no different from how he was before the grass came through. It looks like Styric was mostly right in seeing a problem with his right shoulder movement in the last dressage test. He has thrown a whacker of a splint on the diagonal opposite hind leg. He isn't noticeably unsound on it, but it would probaby have caused some stiffness whilst it was forming.
Tomorrow Radar gets a treat, a hunting buddy and another friend and me are all going to the farm ride to have a whizz and a jump. 5667 (cat just walked across the keyboard - she nearly killed the telly last night attacking the screen when some birds came on Springwatch. She would have been very unpopular if it had hit the floor like it threatened to. )
I've told Radar and he is thrilled. He says he can't wait. That makes two of us :-)

Admit it, you just wanted to do some extra driving with Errol.....
ReplyDeleteWhat good news about Ace, I mean aside from the splint. Some little extra discomfort from that might have contributed to some of his issues as well. He's one expressive fellow.
You've told Radar about the excursion? Bet he's bouncing with excitement! What fun.
I had to tell him Jean, he was looking so forlorn that there are no hedges in his life at the moment :-)
