Not everything is bad. Look what I just found posted from one of the last meets of the season. The next shot is him landing it.

What a horse. How lucky can I be to have him as a playmate, eh?

ps now that's why you don't want a big cantle on a hunting saddle :-)))))
And proof positive of why keeping your heels down and not letting your leg slip back is so important! What an impressive jumper he is. You are blessed to have him and he you.
ReplyDeleteBlessed I agree Jean.

Great photo - just the medicine you need now.
ReplyDeleteHe looks bloody strong! Love the expression on your face ;-) Roll on next season!
ReplyDeleteNic I prefer to describe it as "he doesn't easily take no for an answer: :-)))))) I saw the Field Master disappear completely as he landed so I knew it was a hefty drop. He left me behind a bit with his enthusiasm, but it's a good place to be on a drop fence, as you know!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a spoonful of sugar ML.
I'm off on hols for a few days now. House sitters arrive soon to look after the cats and the two black boys. The break will be great.
See you soon.

Holy Jeebus, look at the muscle on that boy! No wonder you have a hard time holding him back
ReplyDeleteHe's certainly a big boy :-) ! That's the 1/4 shire showing, I think.

It's just a short shank pelham with fixed sides and a very wide mouthpiece really Tracey, it looks more than it is because it's an aluminium casting. It's a mikmar.
DeleteGreat holiday, I really recommend a few days in Brussels by Eurostar. Very pretty little city.
Been to see Jazz but yet to speak to Physio. He still looks very wobbly to me. I think we will probably have to have him put down this week, but we'll see what the vets say first.
