Radar was worse than he has been and better than he has been. He did some smashing work but he took a long time to settle to a nice quiet walk again after cantering.  He could have been a lot worse though.

Ace is very sweet these days. His little habit is to stand by me and put his head down by my knees. I don't know why he does that, but he is so gentle when he does it that I quite like it.

We worked on transitions between and within the paces today. And we practised the canter change over x through trot that we will have in N30 2006 next week. I have given up the idea of competing on Wednesday because we have visitors for 2 days and I can't get the test learned in time.

Also our visitor will only just be leaving on Wednesday morning and we will probably be grateful just to have a quiet afternoon.

  1. Good to get another week of training under your belt before the show. Enjoy your guests.

As for Radar, that actually sounds pretty normal. Every horse is not a superstar every day. His variations may be just a bit more dramatic than others.
