Radar was worse than he has been and better than he has been. He did some smashing work but he took a long time to settle to a nice quiet walk again after cantering. He could have been a lot worse though.
Ace is very sweet these days. His little habit is to stand by me and put his head down by my knees. I don't know why he does that, but he is so gentle when he does it that I quite like it.
We worked on transitions between and within the paces today. And we practised the canter change over x through trot that we will have in N30 2006 next week. I have given up the idea of competing on Wednesday because we have visitors for 2 days and I can't get the test learned in time.
Also our visitor will only just be leaving on Wednesday morning and we will probably be grateful just to have a quiet afternoon.

Good to get another week of training under your belt before the show. Enjoy your guests.
ReplyDeleteAs for Radar, that actually sounds pretty normal. Every horse is not a superstar every day. His variations may be just a bit more dramatic than others.
SH's sister - completely wearing! :-)
