The Thompson Twins

Two lovely hacks today on my two lovely dark boys.  Ace seemed to be a bit miffed at turning for home and wanted to go on a bit further. Radar was boucing. The weather was absolutely beautiful. How much better can it get than that?

The weather has been so dry that I have started leaving the barn door open to the field, which is really good news. More freedom for them, less work for me. I can have a lie in tomorrow if I want one - I'll probably be wide awake at 6 just because I don't need to be :-)  It's still very cold at night, but they don't care about that if they have a decent rug on and can get inside if the wind comes up.

According to Facebook, the hunt this Saturday has twelve hedges on the second leg, not one of them over four feet high. That is exactly what Radar and I need to get our eye back in and have a really good time. Fingers crossed it all works out well this week.
