Boingy boingy

It's spring, we can all feel it in the air. Ace is getting quite spooky with it, but still much safer than he used to be. We had a nice little hack to trim up his tootsies and get ourselves some fresh air.

I did think about riding Radar, and then decided that I didn't feel like it. Woody is quiet and gentle and no-one would guess what happened, he's the last horse you'd imagine could go so mad.

I need to remember with all of them now that until about May they are likely to be less predictable than normal. Particularly with Ace, I must not let the temporary affect of spring fool me into thinking that things are going wrong.

  1. Ah, so Spring had sprung...or at least is in the process of springing. It's a good bounce, though, so not at all depressing.

Interesting about the heat in Woody's leg. If that's all it is, it's a good thing. Poor boy. Despite his lost mind, I do have to feel sorry for him. He must have been terrified to go off like that. Truly a frightening experience for all.

  2. He wasn't terrified Jean, he was determined to go after the rest of the hunt. It wasn't fear, it was pure adrenaline.

I hope to see some progress in a week or so, if not we will have to rethink.
