I went out today! It's been mayhem here, with lorries dumping limestone into the yard and Keith madly shovelling it here there and everywhere, making an incredible noise. On top of that, when I got home SH told me that a naked woman had been motorcycling up here. Honestly, not a word of a lie. Apparently she had lost 14 stone and taken a bet that she would ride pillion naked on a motorcycle if she achieved her target weight. She did, so she had to! I almost wish I'd been here. No, maybe not.
There is no way that I could ride today, given what was going on. I expect to get out on Radar tomorrow, more out of necessity for him to be fit to hunt than anything. The other two can wait until the new playground is ready. The stables are blocked with heaps of limestone and I have had to feed them tied up in the barn tonight, which took SH's help to achieve with the four of them. Tomorrow will be the same, but it will be finished by the weekend I think.
Anyway, here's the result of all the yard based mayhem:
Too bad about the naked woman....now THAT would have made a photo. *G* Actually, congratulations to her! Quite an accomplishment to lose that weight--maybe even worth the ride. *LOL*
ReplyDeleteThat arena is going to be fabulous! Construction is always a bother but so worth it when all is done.
How long did naked woman stop and chat for?!!! Hope it wasn't as sunny with you as it was for us today, she could have got burnt in some very painful places.
ReplyDeleteSchool is looking amazing already.
What madness! Life is so interesting - you never know what will happen next.
ReplyDeleteSnow!
ReplyDeleteOf course, when the motorcycle in the garage is finally roadworthy, you'll do the same as this lady, as a celebration of a wonderful acheivement by your own SH.
In your dreams Bruvver! :-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great ML - makes it worth looking forward to every day.
I don't know how long the OH was chatting to the naked woman for - all I know is he and our temporary help Dave (for while OH was too weak to do the garden stuff this year) had broad grins on their faces when I got home!
Same again today Jean, lorry after lorry. We are worn out and we aren't doing anything!
