6 days progress

My stable yard is still a beach, but this shot of the one side which has been boarded gives and idea of how lovely it's going to be. Sorry about the fuzzy shots, it is both howling a gale and raining. It's just as well it IS raining, because with a wind this high and a temperature of close to 20c, the sand would blow away if it was dry. Keith has been joined by his wife and they have been struggling with great big sheets of membrane blowing in the wind all day, poor things.

  1. Wow! Beautiful. Wish I could afford some rubber for mine, but alas, funds are scant. I will just have to live my fantasy through your blog. *G*

Seriously, it does look fabulous. No excuses will be tolerated for any lack of training once it's done. You and your boys are going to be riding in heaven!

  2. Wow - it looks huge but actually it's 20x60 (I think). But so nice - just think of it, all finished in the not too distant future. Soon you will be making tracks! The horses are thinking of all the extra work that the new arena will enable.

We too are entering a period of weather change. It was 26 C yesterday, 19 tomorrow, 14 Friday, and only 10 on Saturday.

  3. It's 40x30 ML. Can't wait to ride on it after my holiday.

The rubber/fibre has just arrive Jean. If an unknown relative dies and leaves you a fortune, it's MUCH better than rubber crumb alone.
