We got a hunt!!

And my goodness me what a hunt!   Hedge after hedge after hedge. Barely a one under four foot six and plenty much higher than that!  Radar was a star. Well behaved, jumped like a gazelle, full of running to the very end and didn't want to stop when we got back to the lorry. I'm looking forward to the pictures going up - they are usually posted by ten o'clock this evening.

The ground was fantastic, then rain fell on the farm next door but never on the one whose fields we were in. A lot of the time the sun even shone.

We've had such a good time. I'm off for a bath now and then I have to pack Buttie's suitcase for him.

Blimey, after all the big, solid hedges we jumped the only picture of Radar he has over a hedge at all is this one:

Compared to most, this was a tiddler!

  1. Oh phooey!! I was looking forward to more than one pic. He does look elegant, though. Still clean for a change as so many of your hunts have been in the mud. And I do love his expression. He looks so keen. I am so happy you got out for a good run. It will make the rest of the weekend so much easier for you.

Don't forget Buttie's toothbrush....*G* Do try to be excited for him. His very own little girl!

  2. Yay! The hunt went on! He looks so well suited for his job. And the grass is so green! It's so brown, beige, colorless, here.

Little Buttie - he will be happy - I am sure you have chosen well for him. Look what a good home Tetley ended up in!
