Not the horse, no, me, down to my brothers for a couple of days. Just a nice little break from routine.
I've just come in from schooling radar in the dusk so that I wouldn't feel pressured to do him tomorrow. His work gets higher and higher quality but he is still prone to his silly little dashes for freedom, to trying to tell me where we are going instead of listening to where I want him to go, and completely panicking on changes of direction as if he'd never been asked to turn left or right in his life!
I'm for an early night tonight, tired from the long journey, too much food and too much excitement :-)

Glad you had a break from the routine. Every once in a while that's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a silly boy Radar is. I figure he just spent too many years "doing his own thing," so the concept of simply responding to you can still be alien at times. Before you got him, he probably never had been asked to turn right or left!! *lol*
