It gets worse! I rode in minus 4 this morning with a wind chill of at least another 10 degrees. It was cold! But the roads were clear and Radar and I had quite a fun time all in all. I doubt very much whether there is any chance of hunting at the weekend but at least he's fit if we get a sudden thaw.
The arena is now completely unusable so neither of the other two got any work and we went off to the Trafford Centre instead. At least it was warm there!

Now we are getting some snow, but it's not frigid out--just hovering around freezing, I guess. The snow isn't supposed to amount to much. Then we'll warm up again for few days, have a cold weekend and then warm up (40'sF)
ReplyDeleteI am holding my breath this winter as we have not suffered too much. A week or so of cold--maybe in the 20'sF and no significant snow.
Hang in there. There's just a bit over a month left of winter and then spring will spring.
It was wierd today Jean! A cold and a warm front were having a dingdong battle. One moment it was raining and the rain was freezing as it hit the floor and the next it was melting furiously. It's feezing again now.
